Proposal Manger

This feature is only available for members with X-SPLEX Sellers accounts; it's used to manage their proposals for RFX listings.
Proposal Manager works similarly to Messaging - this is by design.  It does more, as it provides the status of the listings you are interacting with. 
 
Proposal Manager has the basic info like RFX#, RFX's listing title, a Messaging button (pop-up to communicate), the current proposed price, the potential buyer, Listing type, and location by state.  

You set your own priority for each proposal.  Just as the other party may have their own priorities. 

The Status Column will show if the RFX is active, dead, etc.
Active = In play.  Open for you to continue communicating.
Deleted = User has ended/canceled their RFX.  Sending a reply would be useless.  They will not see it. 
Closed = The RFX has ended. 

If there is a SOLD button next to the Closed status, the buyer (the other party) has selected you to do business with.   
If there is a blank space next to Closed, then they have selected someone else. 

Click the SOLD button to complete the RFX on your end.  It allows you to add final notes on transactions, costs, and prices.   The button will change to FIN(ished) when you have completed this task.   This has no bearing on the buyer. 

We recommend not deleting your FIN/SOLD proposals, but that is up to you. 

Like with Sales messaging threads.  If you delete a proposal, it is removed from your end.  The other party will not be notified of this action; the thread will be inactive. You cannot undo a deleted proposal thread.  

Sending and messaging with proposals is the same as with RFX/Sales.   You control the price of the proposal at all times during negotiations. 

Note:
Seller Users, Limited Dealers and End Users can post RFX for products and services for which they want a quoted price. 
Limited Dealers, End users and the public can see RFX listings. 
Limited Dealers, End users, public and inactive Sellers Users cannot send proposals or open communication to RFXs. 

End users and Seller users can post RFB (Request for Bid), but only active Seller dealer accounts can see RFB listings. 
RFB listings are not shown to the public, end users, non-dealers and inactive Seller accounts. 

There are no additional charges or fees for sending out proposals, finalizing transactions, or anything else related to RFX or sales.
